#NowHiring

Social Media Manager

We are looking for someone creative (we're not making content meant for LinkedIn...), bold, dares to be different, and has a sense of humour. We NEED to be energized by you, we want to love having you around. If you can make us laugh, we will like you. You will be responsible for channelling this energy, personality, and good vibes to the people who are part of our community, in ways that align with our brand’s overall personality and positioning.

You are allowed to be creative and direct the creation of our creative assets such as videos and images. Have fun, experiment. Watching Tiktok and scrolling Instagram to know what’s out there and what we can do is part of your job – damn, we like your job. Talk to our audiences, talk to everyone, be their friend. The more the merrier. We all like a good party.

This is a full-time position and you will be joining a team that actually works like one. If you see yourself as a lone wolf, then please don’t apply as you’ll be having lunch alone and no one will ask how your weekend was. We bounce ideas, we learn, and we keep going. In line with the times, we’re based across different territories and work remotely, but we’re always available and connected.

Responsibilities:

  • See what others in the space and on the platforms are doing, do what they’re doing right, then do things better than they do. Try, experiment, reiterate.
  • Get to know our customers, see how we can be authentic with and useful to them. Grow our social media channels and engagement through content creation and community management.
  • Evaluate and nurture our brand persona, voice, and messaging. Make sure they’re aligned with our values and beliefs. Think about who we are and what we stand for.
  • Develop creative briefs and content plans in line with our content pillars, and help to shoot them. You’ll need to know how to shoot much better than anyone else on the team. You will also manage UGC Content Creators, providing them with clear briefs and organising deliverables.
  • This role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer, and you’ll need to make sure she is fully aware of what you’re working on, your progress, ways she or others on the team can help you, and show all these in a measurable, trackable way.

You have to:

  • Be responsible and reliable. We empower our staff and we trust that they'll own it.
  • Be respectful to others. There are many smart people in the room and they’re there for a reason.
  • Be resourceful. Don’t know how to do something? Find out how. Meet a roadblock? Find a way around it. We don’t take “No”s as answers, especially without explanation.
  • Have great English, especially as you’ll have to write copies. If you have a powerful second language, let us know too.
  • Extroverted and comfortable speaking with others. It's cool if you don't mind being on screen.
  • Be able to create evocative (potentially viral) Instagram and Tiktok posts; we like to say it helps to know how to use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Capcut, but if you already do this really well with other tools and the proof is in the samples, we’ll take that.
  • Have a great track record of stuff you’ve created on social media platforms, as well as what you achieved with them.
  • Be an expert at what you do; own your role and deliverables, be proactive, strategic and analytical, and don’t be in a position where we feel a need to tell you what to do.

Make sure to:

  • Tell us why this resonates with you, and
  • Show us your Tiktok and Instagram handles, or any other portfolio that you think is relevant
Content Strategist

We are looking for someone who is energetic, fun-loving, bubbly, and eloquent to join our team as Content Strategist. Of course, you need to be an expert in content strategy. You will need to be able to take things that are organic and sometimes ambiguous, and organize them around content pillars and topics, giving them shape, form, and intention. Fashion needs to be in your DNA – you need to love fashion, shopping, and be in tune with trends. If you find yourself voraciously consuming fashion content in your free time, that’s a good sign.

We want to LOVE being around you and be able to share and support your vision for our content. You need to be able to communicate effectively, simplifying complex concepts, moderating discussions, thinking strategically, and driving desired outcomes.

We like people who work fast and work smart. If you’re the kind of person who creates spreadsheets to plan for holidays, we will probably like you a lot. In line with the times, we’re based across different territories and work remotely, but we’re always available and connected.

Responsibilities:

  • Clearly define and map out key content pillars, sub-pillars, themes, topics, and sub-topics. Build a deep understanding of who we are and what we can offer to our customers, and help us to speak to them in a personal, relatable, authentic way. We want our content to be meaningful and value-adding, instead of just another source of noise.
  • Distil and nurture our brand personality, voice, values, and make sure they are properly presented.
  • Create and communicate the monthly content calendar for social media (Instagram, Tiktok, etc.) and e-mail newsletters to relevant stakeholders in advance. Come up with creative ideas and ways which we can engage audiences and show us how we can create that content.
  • Strategize and plan content for our website. This can be in the form of blog posts, interviews, or anything else that is relevant and interesting to our visitors. You are not expected to write all of these content pieces, but you will need to provide clear guidelines and “talking” points to other team members/external stakeholders nurture the desired end result.
  • Use significant SEO knowledge to guide content strategy. We want to know what people are searching for, how we can reach them, and keep finding better, more effective ways of speaking to them.
  • Research and analyse prospective and existing customers (Who are they exactly? What do they love/hate? What are they thinking?), audit our content periodically, then hone our content strategies to convert quicker and better. Try, experiment, reiterate.
  • Set ambitious KPIs and be hungry about achieving (or over-achieving) them.
  • This role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer.

You have to:

  • Be responsible and reliable. We empower our staff and we trust that they’ll own it.
  • Be respectful to others. There are many smart people in the room and they’re there for a reason.
  • Be resourceful. Don’t know how to do something? Find out how. Meet a roadblock? Find a way around it. We don’t like “No”s as answers, especially without explanation.
  • Be creative. We love someone who is full of sensible, novel ideas, and who can direct us on how to achieve them.
  • Have great English, especially as you’ll have to write copies and communicate with external stakeholders. If you have a powerful second language, let us know too.
  • Extroverted and comfortable speaking with others

Make sure to:

  • Propose and outline a content plan for a week, and
  • Show us other content that you or that you have guided others to produce on Tiktok, Instagram, and/or other channels (i.e. your portfolio)
UGC Content Creator

We are looking for people to create content as part of our global Content Creation team. This is a monthly gig on a retainer basis where we work with you to bring ELVN to life for people everywhere. If you’re a content creator creating organic content on platforms like Instagram and Tiktok, love what we do, and feel that you’re a good fit for our brand, we want to hear from you.

We believe in enabling our Content Creators to take creative liberty in the way they communicate to audiences. As such, we work on a very personalized basis and will work with you to craft a package that is suitable for the both of us. There are a lot of perks to this job, but we’ll discuss this when we get there. This is a role that has the opportunity of converting into a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

  • Create novel, engaging content for the agreed social media platform(s), based on the creative briefs given. Examples could include unboxing videos, GRWM videos, haul videos, and experience-sharing videos.
  • Post these creatives to your account, if and as agreed.

You have to:

  • Have a good track-record of creating engaging, high-quality creatives relating to Fashion. We love if you showcase versatility in the types of creatives produced. We do not have a minimum number of followers requirement.
  • Be timely and responsive. No one likes to be ghosted.
  • Be professional. Deliver on the committed deliverables (whether that’s 1, 2, or 20 creatives) on time. We try not to let our Managers lose sleep :)

  • Tell us why you would be a good fit, and
